I was born and grew up just outside London in the Kent suburb of Bromley. Your status as a teenager was determined by how close you hung out to McDonald's. I moved in Brisbane, Australia in the early 2000s because I discovered I enjoyed sweating profusely nine months of the year. I have been here ever since trying to understand the Aussie obsession with going camping.
I read a mix of classic and modern sci-fi that included in the last 12 months Asimov, Heinlein, Taylor, Howey, Wendig, Stephenson, King, and Liu. I also read a lot of marketing books because, as the CEO of Cemoh.com, that's what I do for a wage.
I have supported Tottenham Hotspur since 1981, so I understand the value of long-term suffering.

The Outpost at Tal Ghrna
(The Chronicles of Dorn Book 1)

The Dominion has fallen.

The Sovereign is dead.

Communications are down and the small team from the mining outpost on Tal Ghrna, in the far reaches of the Outer Rim, haven’t heard from anyone in days.

Now, the locals are rising up. Angered with years of exploitation at the hands of the Dominion, they are seizing their opportunity to eliminate the occupiers and reclaim their homeland. Led by the psychotic megalomaniac, Sal Fel, the natives of Tal Ghrna have pledged to do whatever it takes to rid their planet of the Dominion forever.

Ill-equipped, unmotivated and out-numbered by the tens of thousands of Ghrnese, Commander Lucas Dorn must rally the small group of Dominion soldiers, galactic traders and mining contractors to find a way to escape the planet with their lives.

Can this ragtag group put their differences aside and work together to survive?

"The whole book is about doing the right thing when you have no choice. Sometimes that’s the hardest decision to make. We become better people when we make those tough calls and do what we know is right."
